I have been mediating full-time since 2008, and an attorney since 1998.  In 2010 I opened my own practice in Somerville, where I also live with my husband and daughter.

I’m a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar, a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (MCFM) and an instructor at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) for their Family Law Mediation Workshop. (mcle.org)

I am a former Vice President of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (mcfm.org) where I edited its publication, the Family Mediation Quarterly, and wrote a column on language and conflict called “How Can You Say That?”  I teach a workshop by the same name for mediators and other professionals

Before becoming a mediator, I was an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, an Assistant City Solicitor in Somerville, and a computer consultant in Paris.  I received a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. cum laude from the University of San Francisco.
